Our story dates back to the 17th and 18th centuries. You’ll learn about the tragic history of the rich wine-grower family, the Kékesdy [Keikeʃdɪ] here in Badacsony [Badatʃonj]. Intrigue and love, birth and death, jealousy and fierce fighting, exciting twists and turns surround the fate of our characters.

    All about the MOBILE SCAVENGER HUNT GAME: A mysterious letter from the past.

    The specialty of our games is the augmented reality (AR) function.

    Based on the location data provided by your smartphone / tablet camera and GPS receiver, the image “seen” by the camera is labeled with some specific data to buildings, sculptures, and other landmarks, thus displaying new, non-existent elements on the site; historical photo, video, 360° panorama, 3D object.

    The result is a special mobile application that can be used independently of the age group and can serve as an alternative sightseeing tour or as an outdoor indoor detective mobile game depending on the content we provide.

    But then let’s get to know the story now:

    Ignácz Kékesdy, a landowner inherited a huge 25 hectares of land on the slopes of Badacsony after the unexpected death of his father in 1795.

    The land was full of vines, as his grandfather, great-grandfather and even his great-great-grandfather were dealing with a winery. Ignácz had already absorbed the love of the earth and grape in his childhood. His wines became famous even in abroad.

    On September 22nd, 1795, just after the feast of the mountain, he lost his father who believed to have been struck by the vintage excitement and the huge amount of alcohol consumed at the ball. It happened just the other day of the ball on which Sándor Kisfaludy, our famous poet fell in love with the twenty-year-old charming and rich girl, Róza Szegedy.

    1. Step 1 Buy access to the game

      If you would like to play the game on the site, you must first purchase the access by clicking the Buy / Download button. We recommend to read our General Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy first.

      Downloading our Application is also very easy. All of our games are available for Android and iOS (iPhone, iPad), so you can play any game you like on mobile phones not older than three years. In the confirmation email after the successful payment you will receive a QR code that you can click to get to the download link. You can also scan this code with another device, but play only once and on one device at the same time.

    4. Step 4 Registration

    5. Step 5 Read the game info

    We enjoyed playing this scavenger hunt game with ou Hungarian friends. The story is so charmant, réalité augmentée makes it exciting. Congrats!
